We supported Reel Works’s workforce-pathways initiative, MediaMKRS, in creating its Career Accelerator track, which helps young adults from underserved backgrounds build technical and professional skills for careers in film, television and streaming production. In collaboration with partners such as A+E Networks, Paramount and others, the program produced a bespoke curriculum, hands-on training, industry mentorship and job-placement support — even during a period of hiring freezes and industry disruption. Through this model, Reel Works aimed to open doors for participants into entry-level roles in production, post-production, editing and other media careers.
