The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Staten Island is providing young adults, including those who are attending part- or full-time college, high school, a non-degree program, or not attending any institution, with a clear path from training to employment in construction and green energy. While this program initially aimed at securing jobs in wind energy, delayed city-based projects in the industry led JCC to pivot training offerings to include certifications in weatherization and HVAC.
