Approach

Hot Bread Kitchen is teaching foundational culinary skills and professional readiness and placing its youth participants in careers in the food industry with employers, Restaurant Associates, and others. It provides the technical and professional skills needed for full-time, long-term employment. With this grant, Hot Bread Kitchen has adapted its program to include necessary youth development-focused wraparound support to address specific challenges around identify, relationships and mental-health.
