CUNY New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute

CUNY is seeking to recruit and prepare assistant teachers and lead teachers in early childhood education throughout New York. These efforts will not only increase the workforce, but also address teacher turnover and offer participants a path to a career in early childhood – a career that can be daunting (yet very accessible to under-served youth, even without a college degree) given the convoluted certifications needed to maintain employment.
