Covenant House New York is creating a direct pipeline to full-time employment for homeless youth in office administration, customer service and facility maintenance. Covenant House’s Delta program is training youth participants in a wide-array of careers inside the airline and throughout the airport. The Covenant House Barista program is giving participants the opportunity to make $35-40/hour – a major boost in earnings for many of these youth. This program’s wrap-around services help its participants obtain and sustain these jobs, despite the difficult circumstance of homelessness.
